About me

My name is Birger Oldorff. All my professional life has been committed to employee mobility, medical care, travel safety, international travel, and health insurance.

It all started 30 years ago. At the time, I was an unaccompanied expat child and was chaotically evacuated from the civil war country of Rwanda.

Now and for the past 25 years I have had the opportunity to advised organizations in the areas of Duty of Care, International Insurance, Travel Risk Management and Global Mobility. My career has since brought me to many countries, both as an expatriate and as a business traveler. I have first-hand experience of what it means to live with a family in challenging environments. I therefore understand every aspect of the mobile enterprise reality. This includes strategic HQ perspective, daily HR reality, local business perspective, that of external providers. Last but not least the one of  employees and their family members. My network extends  SMBs, large multinational corporations, i, NGOs, insurance companies, medical organizations, security providers, and business travel professionals.
